This Esme is made from a lovely grey Harris Tweed with a maroon and grey overcheck. The front is embellished with a big bow. The back has an outside pocket. The interior is a funky cotton with zipped pocket. The Harris Tweed straps are a nice length, so that (hopefully) they won’t drop off your shoulder. And it’s got a recessed zipper – safety first!
Esme’s Back story: I decided L-C-T needed a tote shaped handbag, one for the ladies who just want to throw a nice bag over their shoulder. Totes normally have an open top, but we like security, so we popped in a recessed zip. In our habit of choosing the most contrary names from contrary ladies – this bag was named Esme, after Esme Young from the Great British Sewing Bee, because she LOVES big bows!

Love Creative Therapy is based in lovely Northern Ireland, and works primarily with Harris Tweed, but mixes in some cottons, tartans and other cheeky selections! At Love Creative Therapy, a decision was made quite early on, that we wanted to be original. So, after many failed attempts, screwed up balls of paper and liberal use of creative language, Myrtle was born. Now we have a host of lovely, simply designed patterns for handbags and accessories :)
